Staying in the family :)
on: September 15, 2021, 01:09:41 PM
Its with mixed emotions that I need to say that I have left my beloved S1000R for another bike. It served me well and was my steady and reliable companion for many years and miles but the new bike itch has been needing a scratch for a while.

Not gone far since I traded her for a new S1000RR in black.  Hope she treats me as well as my S1000R.

I'll be staying tuned in to this forum which I have truly enjoyed !!

Best to all!!

Congrats on the new bike. Nothing beats that "new bike feeling".

My current itch is for the new Tuono V4. Been lurking their forum for a while now, Kinda hoping the impulsion will subside.

Would be great to get your thoughts on the double R vs the single R once you've put a few miles on her.

Enjoy!!

Congrats Windyrun.  Glad that you are staying on the forum. Maybe you may become our guide to owning a S1000RR in the future.

Congratulations on the new RR! I almost went the same direction, that bike is hot especially in black.  :028:
You should remember that itís peace of mind youíre after and not just a fixed machine.

Good luck with the new bike Windy.  :028:

If I were 20 years younger I'd have a double R in the blink of an eye, but knowing the pain of sports bikes at my time of life puts everything in to perspective.

Keep us informed on your new bike ownership and good luck.  :038:
