Broken down help required!
on: July 19, 2021, 01:19:59 PM
Currently on a breakdown after taking a 30 min break. Have been riding for nearly 4 hour and now canít restart. No lights nothing on the panel. I am 100% everything was turned off when bike was stopped. What can it be?

I'm just guessing here but maybe check the fuses to see if one is blown

Had this happen to me before, had a long ride, stopped for a break and nothing on the dash afterwards.

In my case it was the battery,  a cell had inexplicably dropped , out of the blue.

Good luck and let us know anyway.

Miles and my brother were right.
It turned out to be a loose positive connection on the battery! The screw must have come loose after I installed the dash cam some weeks ago. I didnít think of that because it was several hundred miles without problems.
I thought the alternator had packed up or some wires got wet having spilled some petrol over the tank some days ago. Thereís still some droplets coming out the bottom every now and then. Anyways now I am in my hotel having finished my first day of a 3 day trip. Thanks for all your advices youíve saved me a call out.
Ride safe all.
