Bike Suggestion Needed!!!
on: July 02, 2021, 07:25:48 PM
I have been riding the S1000rr 2017 for some time now. Have upgraded the sprockets (3D by Ek - Vortex 525 17 T Front and 45T rear) Brembo Calipers, Brembo Master Cylinders. Easily touch 160 kph in the 2nd gear and some mods.
In short, it is superb and perfectly according to the taste I like. I want to ask if there is any major difference in the 2020 model in terms of performance and would it be a good choice to move on to the 2020 model? Is there really that big difference? I never rode one as anyone in the circle has any and the nearest bike is about 300 miles away and I am confused.... :087: :087: i can get 17K for my 17 and can bag a 2020, 300 miles clocked bike around 21K. Should i travel the 400 miles and get a test ride?

17k for a used 2017 and 21k for a used 2020?? The bike market where you live is ridiculous.

A 2022 S1000R starts at 15k USD new, and about 18.5k USD nicely equipped.

Seems all are confuder, OP is talking about a 2017 RR, but this is a Single forum(where nay and all are welcome). but I ma not sure you are going to get a huge number with RR experience compared to an RR forum.

Guys, please suggest any saddlebags for the bike, previously I have https://www.wunderlich.de/shop/en/bmw-s-serie/s-1000-rr/luggage-co/panniers-bags.html and a friend gifted the https://www.vikingbags.com/viking-extra-large-street-bike-saddlebags
Now I am looking to buy something quick to detach as I carry valuable in my luggage and it is a headache to leave the bike behind on stops/breaks.
Any suggestions?
